SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam PatternÂ
Tier 1 is the first stage of the selection process and acts as a screening test. The marks obtained in Tier 1 are not considered in the final merit list but are essential for qualifying for Tier 2.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam PatternÂ
SSC CGL Syllabus 2025 of Tier 2 is the main exam and is crucial in the final selection. It consists of two papers:

Paper 2: For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post only
Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for wrong answers in Paper 1 (except Computer and Data Entry modules, which have no negative marking)

Candidates who have qualified Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL can go through SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025 in the table below. There are two sessions for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam.Â
